About the job
The Waldheim Foundation offers people with intellectual, physical, and psychological disabilities a variety of residential and day-structure places in six residential homes. More than 340 employees are committed to the high quality of life of around 220 clients.
The Reithof Rüti consists of a therapy and riding operation with around 19 jobs in the second labor market, residential places, and 15 horses, to which an agricultural operation is attached. The stationary residential places are distributed between the main house of the Reithof and various external living groups.
We are looking for a care specialist for the Reithof Rüti in Grub/AR in the residential area immediately or by arrangement:
Care and Support Specialist (90%)
What to expect:
- Agogic promotion and professional support and care of adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities in the residential area
- Supporting clients in their life design within the reference person system
- Recognizing resources and targeted promotion of development opportunities
- Creating written documentation
- Active participation in quality assurance and quality development in the areas of care, nursing, living, and day structure
- Implementation of care and support measures
- Collaboration with relatives, guardianships, and professionals
What we expect:
- Completed training preferably in the field of care/support
- Resilience in demanding situations
- High social competence and the ability to work purposefully in a team
- Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends, and on-call duties
