We are pleased about your interest in working in the St. Gallen judiciary. The courts of the canton of St. Gallen issue over 15,000 decisions each year in various areas of law. The court staff work daily on behalf of those seeking justice for an independent and efficient judiciary and thus make a valuable contribution to legal peace.

The District Court Rheintal in Altstätten is the court of first instance in civil and criminal matters. Depending on the jurisdiction, a single judge or the court in a panel of three or five judges decides. The district court currently employs around 23 staff members.

As a complement to our team, we are looking for a motivated personality as of July 1, 2026, or by agreement
