Position: Partner & Head of Private Client Services
Location: Zurich

Objective
The Partner & Head of Private Client Services is responsible for leading the Private Client Services area of the firm and provides competent legal advice to wealthy individuals, families, and family offices.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the development of comprehensive inheritance and succession plans to ensure a smooth transfer of wealth between generations
- Advising clients on drafting and structuring wills, trusts, prenuptial agreements, and other legal documents for the effective protection and transfer of assets
- Advising on complex cross-border inheritance issues while complying with international legal and tax frameworks
- Developing and implementing asset protection strategies, including the creation of international trust structures, family offices, and holding companies
- Advising clients on securing their assets against potential risks such as litigation, divorce, and taxation, with a focus on long-term asset security
- Supporting clients in managing and optimizing their asset portfolios in close collaboration with financial advisors, asset managers, and tax experts
- Developing tailored tax strategies for wealthy individuals while complying with local and international tax laws and maximizing asset protection
- Maintaining and expanding long-term client relationships through high-quality service and proactive engagement
- Developing business development strategies, contributing to thought leadership (e.g., through articles, webinars, events), and representing the firm at industry conferences
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and associates, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing
- Ensuring compliance with internal quality standards, billing targets, and operational goals
Requirements
Education
- Swiss bar admission and top-tier qualification
- Excellent academic qualifications in law (Master's degree/PhD)
- Additional studies in commercial law or financial law
Professional Experience
- At least 10 years of proven professional experience as a lawyer, preferably in a partner role in a law firm, an auditing firm, or in a senior position in the legal department of a bank or asset management company
Languages
- Fluent in spoken and written English and German
- Additional languages (e.g., French, Italian) are an advantage.
