The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a department of the Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs. It includes the four divisions of Agricultural Measures, Structural Improvements, Surveying, and the GIS Competence Center.
The Surveying Division coordinates the construction and updating work in the cadastre with official surveying, the cadastre of public-law property restrictions, and the utility cadastre. It also supports the Structural Improvement and Agriculture divisions with innovative GIS solutions. The employees in the Surveying department design projects in official surveying and implement them together with the updating surveyors. They ensure contact with the federal government and advise and supervise the updating offices.

For the Surveying department, we are looking for a Project Manager Cadastre starting April 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Technical supervision of ongoing surveying operations in official surveying
- Support and management of commissioned surveying companies
- Further development and maintenance of GIS- and AI-supported verification functions for quality assurance
- Conducting periodic inspections and control measurements of cantonal geodetic reference points
- Participation in national and cantonal working groups and organizations for the further development of official surveying
- Degree as a geomatics engineer or equivalent qualification
- Federal patent as a surveyor engineer or willingness to obtain it
- Several years of professional experience in official surveying, geoinformation, or a related field is an advantage
- Independent, reliable, and analytical working style
- Confident demeanor towards internal and external partners
- Very good German skills, additional cantonal languages, especially Italian, are an advantage
