countryside, the Cité du Genévrier welcomes adults with disabilities due to an intellectual disability. A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers the residents a particularly harmonious living and working environment as well as a set of skills tailored to the needs and aspirations of each.
Integrated into the Eben-Hézer Foundation, the Cité du Genévrier is
the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sister Julie Hofmann.

The group "Les Jalons" supports 6 adults with autism spectrum disorders as well as an intellectual disability and other associated disorders such as epilepsy. The residents are aged 45 to 65 years. The structuring of time, the rigor of the team, and the clarity of the support routines help the resident in their daily life. The meeting of the supported individuals and their humanity allows us to become spokespersons in their connection with the outside world.
The team meeting,
as a cornerstone of the group, allows for questioning educational practices, confronting visions, in search of debate leading to consensus. It is also a place to take a step back from difficult situations. The educational team, experienced and demanding of itself, sincerely engages in daily support. The qualities and differences of each are seen as a wealth, and humor and solidarity are essential resources for the team's balance. To complement the educational team, we are looking for a social educator (H/F).
Desired profile
To hold a diploma as a social educator ES/HES or a CFC in socio-educational assistance with the aim of further training
Experience or knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavioral disorders is an asset
Sense of organization and interest in multidisciplinary work
Rigorous, always ready for challenges and questioning practices with an evolving perspective
Enjoy being challenged in daily professional life
Reflective, proactive, and motivated, able to position oneself
