About the job
Your Tasks
- You work content-wise and conceptually on exciting practice-oriented research and service projects in the field of building envelope and structural engineering
- You are interested in constructive and building physics topics in the field of building envelope, new materials and construction methods, circular economy in construction, and digital methods
- You are responsible for carrying out service orders, expert opinions, as well as material and component tests for our industry partners
- You develop new testing methods to determine material and component properties
- You take over the management for the planning and setup of testing and measuring equipment and coordinate the execution of material and component tests
- You take responsibility for testing and measurement technology and are able to validate and verify testing procedures
- You have the opportunity to develop scientifically, write publications, participate in international conferences, and contribute to standards committees
Your Profile
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
- You are technically skilled and enjoy developing and implementing new technologies in a laboratory environment
- You have at least 2 - 3 years of professional experience - you have manual and constructive skills for planning and executing laboratory and in situ tests
- You have basic knowledge in the field of testing and measurement technology
- You are service-oriented and appreciate working with lecturers as well as research and business partners
- You have very good German and English skills
- You are a reliable, independent, communicative, and team-oriented personality
