Your Tasks
- Coding diagnoses, procedures, and all other DRG-relevant matters accompanying the case and based on medical records
- Checking the completeness and correctness of medical and nursing documentation
- Advising and supporting specialist departments on documentation and coding questions
- Supporting the processing of health insurance and MD inquiries
- Participating in external quality assurance
Your Profile
- Completed training as a clinical coding specialist (m/f/d) or extensive practical experience in clinical work
- Knowledge of the DRG system and coding guidelines
- Knowledge in handling ICD-10, OPS 301 and, if applicable, willingness to acquire practical IT skills
- Independent and responsible working style
- Creativity in organizing and designing change processes
- High level of communication and teamwork skills
