The Department of Women, Children and Adolescents is tasked with providing quality care tailored to the needs of women at every stage of their lives and addressing the health issues faced by newborns, children, and adolescents from birth up to 16 years old. It works on developing cutting-edge services and specialty competence centers.
The team of the development and growth service works on questions related to development, functioning, and recovery capacity, "brain plasticity," of the brain. Its research covers various areas of development ranging from cognitive neuroscience to child psychology.
Job Description
As part of the research project titled "Early Detection of Potential Symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder in Children Born Very Prematurely," you will conduct research on the contribution of the clinical scale AOSI (Autism Observation Scale in Infants) for detecting early symptoms of autism in a population of very prematurely born children.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing the database, ensuring its structure and regular updates. You will contact parents to inform them about the study and explain the objectives and participation methods, aiming to encourage their engagement and understanding of the project.
You will collect the data necessary for the study, ensuring its quality and integrity. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, psychologists, psychomotor therapists, and physiotherapists. You will also be involved in the statistical analysis of the results to draw relevant and reliable conclusions.
Writing scientific articles and presenting at conferences are also central to your duties, with the goal of sharing research progress.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in psychology, neuroscience, psychomotricity, or medicine and have at least 3 years of experience in research projects involving children. Experience in research with prematurely born children would be an advantage.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
