Job Description
At Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, the catering team orchestrates unforgettable dinners thanks to meticulous backstage organization and constant attention to quality. As an Office Attendant, you will play an essential role by ensuring the impeccable cleanliness of dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment. Your contribution is indispensable to guarantee flawless service, working closely with the kitchen and F&B teams.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Consistently providing professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Cleaning and maintaining dishes, glassware, cutlery, and workspaces
- Cleaning the stewarding workspace at the end of service: sweeping the floor, mopping, bringing dirty laundry, emptying trash bins, broken glass containers, and Bio Master buckets
- Cleaning the outdoor courtyard and garbage room, taking out cardboard containers
- Cleaning common areas (hallways, stairs, and elevators)
- Cleaning and maintaining washing machines
- Properly maintaining and using the Bio Master
- Correctly identifying chemical products by checking labels and hazard pictograms
- Complying with all hygiene and safety policies (HACCP) when handling food and beverages
- Committing to the quality of service, discretion, and perfect honesty
- Maintaining a professional attitude, smiling, and staying calm at all times
- Being flexible and cooperative under all circumstances
- Respecting ergonomic work standards, health & safety rules, and hygiene and sanitary requirements
- Adhering to department and company policies, procedures, and service standards
- Performing any other assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in stewarding is an asset
- Experience in hospitality is an asset
- Good knowledge of the French language
- Applying hygiene and safety policies (HACCP)
- Particularly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and availability in schedules
- Good presentation, neat and conscientious
- In the absence of immediate supervisor, must be autonomous
The physical demands of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Constant: standing and walking throughout the work period
- Constant: lifting and carrying loads
- Constant: kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Frequent: climbing up or down stairs and ramps

VISA REQUIREMENTS
To work in Switzerland, the candidate must hold a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
