District Council Clerk 80%The Horgen District Council is the supervisory authority over the municipalities within the district and decides on legal remedies as the first instance of appeal and complaint. The Horgen District Council Office is responsible for preparing the district council's business. For the management of our office, we are looking for a District Council Clerk 80% starting June 1, 2026.
The District Council Clerk bears overall responsibility for all business processes in the office. The activity includes both leadership tasks and case processing.
Your tasks
- You prepare the legal remedies and first-instance matters of the District Council together with your team
- You support the District Council in all organizational and administrative matters together with your team
- You independently manage the office
- You review the decisions of the communities, other institutions, and their control bodies
- As a representative of the District Council, you are the contact person for private individuals, authority members, and administrative employees in the Horgen district
- You communicate complex issues simply and understandably
Your profile
- Completed law degree
- Experience in judgment editing
- In-depth administrative experience and/or court practice, preferably with leadership experience
- High resilience, commitment, and high quality awareness
- Service orientation, communication skills, and flexibility
