Job description
Espace de vie SA is an institution that manages the medico-social establishments (EMS) of La Châtelaine in Vernier and Saint-Loup in Versoix. These respectively accommodate 91 and 84 residents. About 100 employees per institution are engaged there.
To complete the care team of the EMS La Châtelaine, we are looking for:
A health care assistant at 80%
Mission and responsibilities:
Serving the institutional project and the support and care project for residents in a living environment, the person is responsible for providing care adapted to their physical and mental state, supporting and helping residents to perform daily life tasks as well as contributing to their support and that of their relatives.
The health care assistant contributes, under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, through their professional skills and observations, to the multidisciplinary care and support process, defined with the resident and, if applicable, their relatives, the therapeutic representative, as well as the attending physician and teams.
Profile sought
Qualifications and skills:
- Swiss Red Cross health care assistant or equivalent training
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Experience in geriatrics, psycho-geriatrics, and palliative care
- Good knowledge of the French language (spoken, written); other languages are an asset.
- Computer skills and care software knowledge
- Positive and constructive mindset
- Good adaptability
- Availability, flexibility, and rigor in task completion
- Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and service
