The Finance and Controlling Department designs and supports financial planning and management and develops and maintains the university-wide finance and controlling systems.
To complement our team in central controlling, we are looking for a motivated person starting in October or by arrangement
Controller, 60-80%
Your Tasks
- Organization, coordination, and execution of controlling processes (forecast, financial planning, and budgeting)
- Analysis and further development of existing controlling systems and processes in collaboration with departmental controlling, central controlling, and human resources management
- Development of recommendations for action and implementation of process improvements
- Close cooperation with various departments to optimize/digitalize internal workflows and processes
- Participation in projects and working groups
Your Profile
- Commercial training with further education in finance and accounting, higher business administration education
- Relevant professional experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Initial experience and strong technical affinity in the area of process optimization
- Ability to prepare complex issues clearly and present them illustratively
- Familiarity with controlling processes such as budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
- Solid knowledge of MIS systems and the MS Office suite, especially Excel
- Communication skills, social competence, and advisory orientation
