The Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich ensures psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care for the residents of the city and the greater Zurich area. The range of services includes the treatment of mental illnesses across the entire lifespan. As a university hospital, it is also engaged in teaching and research and is very well networked internationally.
The acute ward E2 with focus on the treatment and support of people with psychotic disorders fulfills its mission within psychiatric basic care with an average of 15 beds. The therapeutic offer includes a differentiated assessment and patient-specific treatment, support and therapy as well as planning discharge managementunder psychological and biological social aspects. The diverse nursing offer with a recovery-oriented approach supports the lived reference person system.
For ward E2 we are looking for an
- Implementing the individual nursing process involving patients within the reference person system
- Collaboration within a multimodal, multiprofessional psychiatric treatment and support
- Supporting the psychotherapeutic process
- Responsible for the recovery-oriented design in the therapeutic environment
- Designing and implementing the daily structure and leisure activities of the patients
- Responsible for maintaining contact with relatives and trusted persons
- Supporting professionals in the training of apprentices and students on the ward
- Completed, recognized professional training in nursing HF/FH (recognition certificate from the Swiss Red Cross for foreign diplomas)
- High professional, social and self-competence, high resilience as well as flexibility and analytical thinking
- You bring motivation and personal responsibility within the recovery orientation
- High motivation and ability to engage in an exciting and demanding work environment and take responsibility
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Willingness to work all shifts including night and weekend shifts
- Diverse specialized further training, as well as regular supervision and intervision
