Our client is a leading Swiss company in the environmental and infrastructure sector. For the headquarters in the region, we are looking to support the team with a precise, reliable, and motivated individual. In this versatile role, you will take responsibility for finance and also actively assist in the HR area.
Your tasks
Finance & Operational Accounting: Independent management of the general and subsidiary ledgers (debtors and creditors) as well as responsibility for payment transactions, invoicing, and dunning processes across various locations and business units.
Closings & Taxes: Timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as correct declaration and handling of VAT.
Management Support & Controlling: Preparation of meaningful financial analyses, reports, and statements for management as well as active participation in the budgeting process and project controlling.
Interface Function: Competent contact person for external partners, specialists, auditors, and ERP software support.
HR/Administration & Payroll: Processing of monthly payroll accounting, expense claims, and external fees. Coordination with social insurance, pension funds, and daily allowance insurances.
Qualifications
Your profile
Education: Commercial basic training with further education as a finance and accounting specialist with a federal diploma (or equivalent qualification).
Experience: Solid professional experience in a comparable role, ideally in foundations, NPOs, or the public sector.
IT Skills: Very high IT affinity, confident handling of ERP systems (preferably Abacus) as well as proficient MS Office skills (especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
Languages: Fluent German in spoken and written form as well as good oral skills in French; knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
Personality: Independent, structured, and precise working style, high discretion, and a committed and engaging team personality.
