Your tasks

Responsibility for the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as support in the monthly closing

Preparation of management reports, presentation of results to management, and support in budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analyses

Monitoring business performance including cost center and performance controlling, variance analyses, and KPI management

Further development and maintenance of reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) as well as ensuring data quality

Strategic consulting of the Business Unit, close cooperation with Sales, Operations, R&D, and other departments

Evaluation of investment proposals, especially in connection with new plant projects

Participation in process optimizations, automation initiatives, and compliance with internal control systems (ICS)

Your profile

At least four years of relevant professional experience as a controller or junior controller

Experience in the capital goods industry or manufacturing environment; experience in project-oriented organizations is a plus

Strong analytical skills and a high level of business acumen

Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English; ability to convey complex financial matters appropriately to the audience

Solid knowledge of SAP FI/CO and good understanding of integrated ERP processes; experience with the PS module is an advantage

Very good Excel skills and experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) as well as willingness to further develop digital reporting solutions

Structured, independent working style with high commitment, prioritization skills, and reliability

Team-oriented personality with experience working with various departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, R&D)

Proactive, hands-on, and resilient working style combined with a continuous improvement mentality

High integrity, sense of responsibility, and strong compliance and ICS affinity
