Chief Clinical Physician M/F in Pediatrics at 80%-100%

The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our pediatrics department team, we are looking for a:

Chief Clinical Physician∙80%-100%

The main responsibilities of this position are

Care for hospitalized pediatric and neonatology patients

Care for pediatric patients in the emergency department

Perform resuscitations of newborns in the delivery room or emergency department

Supervise and train assistant physicians during rounds and throughout the day

Participate in creating pediatric protocols for the department

We require

A federal medical diploma or an equivalent title recognized by MEBEKO

A specialist title in pediatrics (or in progress) or a foreign title recognized by MEBEKO, and having completed at least a 6-month rotation as an assistant in neonatology during training (skills in neonatal resuscitation)

PALS and Start4Neo training recommended

Ability to work in a team and interdisciplinary manner

Professional commitment and sense of responsibility

Good command of the French language (minimum B2)
