About the job
You are responsible for the holistic management and further development of information security and data protection within SPIE Switzerland.
Governance
- Further development of the information security strategy and continuous continuation of SPIE's ZeroTrust strategy
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements
- Operation and further development of the certified ISMS according to ISO 27001
- Developing and maintaining security policies, guidelines, and controls
- Monitoring the security situation, conducting risk analyses, and deriving appropriate protection and improvement measures
- Preparation and presentation of reports for the Executive Board
- Evaluation of new initiatives within the existing security and data protection framework
- Budget responsibility for all security projects as well as annual budget planning
Consulting & Collaboration
- Risk-oriented consulting of departments in digitization and innovation projects with a focus on data protection, cyber, and information security
- Support in the analysis and integration of new company acquisitions
- Contact person for all internal employees on topics of information security and data protection
Communication & Awareness
- Promoting a strong security culture in the company through awareness activities as well as transparent and continuous communication
- University degree in computer science, cybersecurity, business informatics, or comparable education
- Several years of experience in a leadership position in the field of information or cybersecurity (CISO or similar)
- Sound knowledge in the areas of ICT security, risk management, incident response, security architecture, and data protection
- Experience with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, Mitre ATT&CK, or comparable frameworks
- Strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and prepare decisions strategically
- German as native language, very good French and English skills
- Work location: Bern or Wallisellen, willingness to travel throughout Switzerland and occasionally to neighboring countries
