- Independent execution of the entire sourcing process: market and supplier research, tenders, offer comparisons, price negotiations, and contract conclusions
- Responsibility for CAPEX procurement
- Waste management: organization and control of service providers in the areas of waste management, recycling, and environmental services in cooperation with the environmental officer
- Coordination with internal specialist departments, especially our Manufacturing and Engineering
- Monitoring of orders, deadline tracking as well as handling of escalations and complaints
- Maintenance and further development of the purchasing systems used (SAP MM, QSYS, Astras)
- Active supplier management: building and maintaining sustainable supplier relationships, including nomination and qualification
- Initiation of measures to optimize costs, processes, and structures in purchasing
- Participation in audits, supplier evaluations, and certificate checks
- Preparation of well-founded decision documents and presentations for management
- Ensuring compliance with compliance, quality, and environmental standards
Your profile
- Completed technical/commercial studies or comparable training in purchasing / supply chain management
- Profound knowledge of purchasing processes, contract law, and negotiation techniques
- At least 5 years of professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in CAPEX procurement and in an industrial environment
- Experience in the global sourcing process
- Confident handling of SAP MM and MS Office; knowledge of SAP CO, QSYS, or Astras is an advantage
- Strong negotiation skills – in German and English – as well as analytical and organizational competence
- Convincing appearance and pronounced communication skills
