We create turnkey energy centers in biomass power plants and waste incineration plants as well as combined heat and power plants and district heating systems. Caliqua AG is centrally located at the SBB train station in Basel and is a subsidiary of EQUANS Switzerland.

At our location in Basel or Zurich, we are looking for you as Design Engineer (a) 80-100%

Your tasks

Professional and independent creation of offer, project, and assembly documents for plant & pipeline construction such as isometrics, manufacturing drawings, various plans, etc.
Complete 3D modeling of plants
Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and project-specific requirements
Support and technical advice to our project managers, site managers, and fitters
Participation in as-built documentation and creation of operationally relevant documents

Your profile

Completed studies as a mechanical engineer or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in design, especially in plant & pipeline construction
Solid knowledge in support technology and its dimensioning
Confident handling of CAD systems (e.g., AVEVA, SolidWorks) as well as visualization tools (e.g., Navisworks, Revizto)
Experience in implementing P&ID / R&I in 3D
Very good German and English skills, French skills are an advantage
Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
Willingness to travel for projects (mostly within Switzerland, occasionally Germany)
