To strengthen our occupational therapy in the Center for Geriatrics and Palliative Care (65 beds), we are looking for a committed professional. In close cooperation with physiotherapy, nursing, medical staff, and the occupational therapy of the Center for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, you will make an important contribution to the interprofessional treatment of our patients.
- Treatment of geriatric patients within the framework of acute geriatrics
- ADL training with the goal of the greatest possible independence in everyday life
- Therapy of the upper extremities (functional therapy, mobilization, sensorimotor skills, everyday relevant activities)
- Conducting cognitive training
- Assessment and provision of aids including instruction of patients and relatives
- Assessment, goal definition, therapy planning, and progress documentation
- Close interprofessional collaboration with nursing, medical staff, and other departments
- Participation in the further development of treatment standards and therapeutic offers
Your Profile
- Degree as an occupational therapist BSc or an equivalent qualification recognized in Switzerland
- Enthusiasm for the field of geriatrics
- Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
- High social and communication skills as well as enjoyment of teamwork
- Interest in evidence-based therapy and professional development
