Our nursing professionals are the immediate contact persons during the stay of our approximately 96,000 patients per year. They are responsible for professional and individual care. The well-being and regaining of independence of our patients are always at the center of care. Our interdisciplinary intensive care unit has 8 care (bed) and 4 telemetry places.
Here you will engage
- Care and support of patients with impaired vital functions of varying degrees. For this, 5 ventilation places and 2 kidney replacement devices are available
- Close interprofessional collaboration with the treatment team
- Documentation with our comprehensive electronic clinical information system
You
- have completed training as a dipl. nursing specialist HF/FH or an equivalent, recognized training in Switzerland
- are willing to collaborate interdisciplinary in a three-shift operation
The entire practical training takes place at the Limmattal Hospital. Our students also have monthly learning and transfer days available. A 4-week insight internship at the University Hospital Zurich (cardiac and neurosurgical intensive care unit) is also part of the postgraduate studies. The theoretical training takes place at the Xund Education Center in Lucerne. With a 100% workload, the study lasts 24 months. You will first be employed and trained as a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH, and the training will start afterwards by agreement.
