Product Manager at the Information Systems Department (DSI)
The Information Systems Department of CHUV is looking for a product manager to strengthen the team within the framework of a 100% permanent contract starting February 1, 2026.
Context
The University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Within the Information Systems Department (DSI), you will join a team of about ten collaborators who manage the computerized patient record applications and medical-technical applications. These tools, at the heart of the business information system, serve several thousand health professionals 24 hours a day.
Mission
- You manage the operation of applications in coordination with DSI colleagues and suppliers
- You ensure the implementation of new versions, in close collaboration with technical teams and operations
- You handle requests for changes, incidents, and support activities appropriately
- You maintain relationships with business representatives: you take into account their needs and priorities, advise and assist them
- You develop an in-depth knowledge of your users' business needs and provide innovative functional solutions, taking into account the constraints of the implemented tools
- You collaborate with projects impacting your applications.
Profile
- You hold a master's degree, a HES diploma, or an equivalent qualification
- You have solid experience in one or more of the following areas: project management, contact with users and technical experts, integration and maintenance of software packages, configuration or development of software packages, heterogeneous environments with high added value, hospital environment
- You have good knowledge of Windows environment, relational databases, scripting, EAI, HL7
- You master spoken and written English
- You are able to quickly switch from an overview to the finest level of detail
- You are autonomous in problem analysis and resolution
- You enjoy contact with others and demonstrate openness of mind.
