We are looking for a dedicated person as of January 1, 2026, or by agreement for the position of
HEAD OF SERVICES 80-100%
How you can contribute with us
- Personnel management of the area with central collection, vehicle procurement, management of the secretariat, and technical leadership of First Responders
- Preparation of decision-making bases for material transactions in close collaboration with the department head
- Professional support in asset accounting, investment planning, and budgeting of the fire department
- Contact person for legal matters of the fire department, support and advice for operational fire departments, as well as conducting training and courses in the specialist area
- Ensuring internal and cross-departmental communication, as well as taking on responsible and complex administrative tasks
- Participation in internal and external meetings with demanding minute-taking (developing decision-making bases, creating directives)
What you bring with you
- Commercial basic training as well as a higher professional qualification (e.g., DAS municipal clerk, MAS public management) or the willingness to complete a corresponding training. Professional experience in the public sector is an advantage
- Several years of leadership experience and enjoyment of working with different professional groups
- Strong organizational talent, strategic thinking, and solution-oriented action
- Strong communication skills, precise and audience-appropriate writing style, quick comprehension, and networked thinking
- Experience in active fire service is an advantage
