The Competence Center for Public Management at the University of Bern is looking for an assistant starting February 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
We are a nationally and internationally recognized research center in the field of administrative science. As an interfaculty unit of the Faculties of Business and Social Sciences as well as Law, we are committed to interdisciplinary collaboration between the disciplines of law, economics, and political science.
Tasks
- Support of financial administration
- Checking and coding of incoming invoices
- Preparation of fee statements
- Recording of expense reports
- Creating invoices
- Settlement of travel requests
- Checking monthly credit reports
Requirements
- Student at the University of Bern or another university, preferably in a bachelor's program
- A flair for numbers
- Good oral and written communication skills and language proficiency
- Good PC skills (MS Office)
- Committed and reliable personality
- Willingness to take responsibility
- Enjoyment in contact with people
- Friendly and courteous demeanor
