Your tasks
- Management of the Medical Controlling and Quality Management department
- Strategic and operational further development of the areas under your responsibility
- First contact for all coding and billing questions for the clinics in the Northern region
- Preparation and follow-up as well as execution of structural and GBA audits by the MD, certifications and audits
- Correspondence with cost carriers and health insurance companies
- Evaluation and decision-making in cases of lawsuits and disputes, including exchange with internal and external legal departments
- Cross-departmental training of medical staff in the areas of documentation and coding
- Ensuring timely and proper submission of quality reports, §21 data delivery, PPUGV, PPP-RL, PPBV and minimum quantities
- Evaluations and analyses for strategic decisions in all hospital-relevant areas
- Subject-related project work
Your profile
- A completed medical degree or a comparable qualification in healthcare, ideally with management experience
- Relevant experience in medical controlling, coding and/or MD management
- Very good knowledge in the areas of DRG, PEPP, AOP and hybrid DRG
- Sound knowledge of legal, regulatory and economic framework conditions in hospitals
- Good knowledge of MS Office and hospital information systems (preferably ISH, ISHmed)
- Competence in the use of MS Office
- High IT affinity
