The Literargymnasium Rämibühl is a Zurich long secondary school with a classical and modern language profile as well as an educational pathway leading to a double qualification: bilingual Matura (German/English) and International Baccalaureate (IB). The gymnasium is a workplace and learning environment for around 770 students and 130 teachers and staff. The traditional gymnasium, founded in 1833, is characterized by its proximity to the University and ETH Zurich, its manageability, and a broadly developed elective course offering.
Your tasks: For the school year 2026/27, we would like to recruit a secondary school teacher mbA for Mathematics (60%) for a long-term position at the Literargymnasium Rämibühl. Internal applications are available.
Your profile:
You have a completed university degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject at university level. You hold a teaching diploma for Matura schools in the subject of Mathematics or an equivalent pedagogical qualification. You have an English language diploma at level C2 and have completed a training course on "Didactics and Methodology of Immersion Teaching (English) at Matura Schools".
You enjoy teaching, are empathetic and a team player, and are interested in interdisciplinary collaboration, including in the STEM area. As an MLP mbA, you are willing to actively participate in commissions, project, and working groups.
