Ferring+You
Reporting to the Production Manager, you ensure the organization of the packaging sector at our St Prex site.
You ensure the smooth running of secondary packaging operations in the assigned sector in compliance with quality standards (cGMP), safety, production schedule, cost, and proper use of equipment. You are the point of contact for all issues related to packaging processes.
Your day at Ferring
- Lead and supervise a team composed of operators, line pilots, and production technicians (~15 people) to ensure compliance with safety, quality, compliance, and performance standards.
- Unite and influence your team members by sharing future goals, vision, their added value, and the impacts generated at the end of the supply chain.
- Coach and support the development of your team members (behavior and performance).
- Manage difficulties (including disciplinary) as well as absences.
- Monitor and analyze performance indicators. Analyze the current state and identify the "Top 3 problems." Implement actions.
- Know cGMP to meet the requirements expected by regulatory bodies to ensure our products meet all GMP requirements.
- Understand packaging processes and their critical parameters (daily problem-solving to ensure product safety).
- Ensure the area meets standards again after a safety, quality, or performance issue.
- Ensure deviations have been properly recorded, addressed, and fixed through CAPA Management/interim corrective action plans.
- Ensure follow-up and review of batch records in the system.

- Proven experience in managing production teams
- Experience in leading Lean Manufacturing projects
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production goals

- Ability to plan tasks, organize team work, and monitor production processes
- Ability to foster a strong team spirit, encourage collaboration, and promote a positive work environment
- Understanding individual team members' needs and ability to develop them through training and coaching
- Analytical and anticipatory mindset
- Proactive person demonstrating a high level of personal initiative
- Good knowledge of IT tools and management systems (SAP, MES Rockwell & Trackwise)
- Languages: French excellent oral and written skills, English an asset
