Social Worker
Social Services Office | 60% | Landquart
On behalf of the municipalities, the Cantonal Social Services Office provides social assistance and support for dependent persons. Furthermore, it supports people in connection with access to economic social assistance. For this purpose, it operates eight regional social services in the canton’s regions. The Regional Social Service Partenz / Signuradi / Tschintg Vitgs is responsible for 18 municipalities with 42,000 inhabitants.
We are looking for a social worker for our regional office in Landquart starting March 1, 2026 or by agreement.
- Counsel individuals and families on social matters in a solution- and resource-oriented manner
- Ensure access to social insurance benefits as well as economic social assistance
- Counsel recognized refugees and provisionally admitted persons as well as foreigners on issues of linguistic, professional, and social integration
- Counsel and financially support persons with S protection status from Ukraine in individual accommodations
- Collaborate with social authorities and specialized offices
- Manage further diverse, interesting, and highly responsible activities
- Completed education as a social worker BSc/SAS or diploma from a comparable training
- Enjoy working with people from different social and/or cultural backgrounds
- Strong counseling skills as well as specialized knowledge based on social assistance law and the social insurance sector
- Enjoy contact, ability to handle pressure, work in a team, good communication, organizational and administrative skills
- Ideally good knowledge of foreign languages
- Independent and solution-oriented working style
