The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. The Technical & Infrastructure Department is based on the Rennaz site and has about 30 employees. Its main missions across all HRC sites consist of managing and coordinating:
· Maintenance and repair of buildings, technical infrastructures, and outdoor facilities
· Management of energy and fluids (supply, optimization, and monitoring)
· Planning, monitoring, and execution of renovation, construction, and infrastructure-related projects
· Operational safety, including security, fire protection, and organization of the technical on-call service

The main responsibilities of this position are
- Ensure the management of the department by planning actions, organizing units, and evaluating the achievement of set objectives.
- Continuously adapt skills, resources, and department organization to the needs of current and future sites, especially within the framework of strategic development projects.
- Guarantee the quality, reliability, and consistency of technical services across all institution sites.
- Organize, plan, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, installations, and equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Plan and lead strategic investment projects (equipment acquisition, service transformation, unit expansion, energy and sustainable optimization).
- Develop, validate, and monitor the department budget, ensuring rigorous management and optimal resource allocation.
- Foster innovation within the department by implementing continuous technological and regulatory monitoring.
- Represent the department to internal management, authorities, engineering offices, architects, and external service providers.
- Unite and support teams by promoting a climate of trust, kindness, and transparency to mobilize employees around common goals.
We require

An engineering degree (HES/EPFL), architect, or higher education in facility management

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position within a complex environment, ideally hospital-related

An excellent understanding of hospital flows, processes, and infrastructures

Proven skills in managing large-scale cross-functional projects

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication qualities

A safety officer or STPS specialist diploma is an asset
