For our group company BATOR AG, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and professionally skilled personality as

General Manager (m/f)

With enthusiasm and technical knowledge, you will develop customised gate solutions with your team for demanding customers at home and abroad and ensure their timely and cost-effective production, installation, and maintenance/repair/modernisation throughout the entire lifecycle.

You will be responsible, among other things, for the following tasks:

• P&L responsibility for BATOR
• Building a strong management team and driving internationalisation
• Intensifying market development and ensuring profitable growth
• Further development of technical solutions, also in close cooperation with development at the TORMAX headquarters
• Expansion of production as well as optimisation and automation of production lines
• Optimisation of the supply chain
• Targeted further development of the process landscape and quality management
• Further development of the ERP system

For this very exciting role, you bring the following:

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (ETH, university) with additional business management training
• Several years of professional experience as managing director of an SME with a corresponding track record
• Extensive experience in industrial companies with production
• Desire to further expand the business at home and abroad combined with a pronounced hands-on mentality
• Highly analytical and structured thinker with strong implementation skills
• Strong customer orientation and high quality awareness
• Innovative and excellent technological competence
• Enthusiastic and proactive leadership personality with charisma and high motivational ability
• Fluent in German, French, and English
• Good IT skills (ERP, MS Office)
• Willingness to travel
