Then you are exactly right with the Canton of Zurich! Currently, around 300 apprentices in 30 different professions are completing their training with us, and we invite you to become part of this success story. Currently, around 70 young people are in ICT apprenticeships.
Offer
Apprenticeship positions for Mediamatikerinnen and Mediamatiker are available, for example, in the Building Department, the Secondary School and Vocational Training Office, as well as in the State Chancellery. You spend the first year of apprenticeship in the basic apprenticeship year and fill your skills backpack with all basic skills, then the training continues in one of our companies. You move in a varied environment because there is much to design, communicate, and organize in today's working world.
In the 4-year apprenticeship to become a Mediamatikerin / Mediamatiker, you learn how to prepare and publish image material, videos, music, texts, and audio documents in a way suitable for the recipient. You perform tasks in design, marketing, communication, or project development. You design flyers, brochures, and presentations, photograph and film at events, and then process this data further, e.g., for publication on social media and websites. You have the opportunity to work on various projects and contribute your creativity as well as your organizational and communication talents.
Requirements
We are looking for students from Secondary School A with consistent performance in school, especially in mathematics and languages. In addition, you have a flair for design, enjoy writing texts, and like working with people as well as the latest technologies and forms of communication. Furthermore, logical thinking and a quick grasp are strengths of yours. Your social skills are also very important to us, as you will work a lot in teams and have daily customer contact.
