Your Tasks
As Head of Business Intelligence (BI), you lead a team of Business Intelligence specialists and experts in Management Accounting. In this exciting role, you significantly support the financial management of the company and further develop the BI environment. You design the data and analytics platform so that the Cantonal Hospital Aarau can work data-driven, future-proof, and efficiently.
- Development and implementation of a future-oriented BI strategy in line with the company vision.
- Review and, if necessary, adjustment of the existing BI strategy, including BI architecture.
- Responsibility for comprehensive BI projects: from requirements analysis through architecture, implementation, to rollout.
- Creation and management of data models, reports, dashboards, and support for ad-hoc analyses to aid decision-making.
- Integration of new source systems as well as building and maintaining cubes and databases in the Data Warehouse (DWH).
- Ensuring data quality, maintenance, and continuous development of the BI platform.
- Training and guiding employees in the use of BI tools.
- Collaboration with departments, internal teams, and external partners to design BI solutions that are practical and future-proof.
Your Profile
- You are a strong leader with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Proven success in a similar leadership role where you developed, implemented, and measurably optimized a BI strategy.
- Solid knowledge of BI technologies (Power BI, Qlik Sense, etc.); experience with hospital information systems such as TIP HCe is an advantage.
- Implementation-oriented personality. Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking as well as excellent communication skills.
