In the Gas and Water Technology department, we are looking for a committed leader with technical understanding who wants to actively contribute to making the infrastructure of a modern city like Winterthur future-proof. As Head of Department Network Information Systems, you will be responsible for the surveying and documentation of all our pipeline networks (water, gas, electricity, and district heating) as well as for the further development of the network information system. You will be supported by your motivated team.Your Tasks
- Economic, technical, and personnel management of the Network Information Systems department with six employees and trainee geomatics technicians
- Responsibility for the maintenance and development of digital utility pipeline documentation
- Support, configuration, and further development of the GIS
- Participation in the on-call service for the Gas and Water Technology department
Your Profile
- Completed studies/training as a geomatics technician and several years of professional experience in the GIS field
- Experience in utility pipeline documentation and GIS system support
- Networked thinking as well as a team- and customer-oriented personality
- Driver's license category B and willingness to perform on-call duty (residence in the Winterthur region).
