Your Role
In this position, you fully manage the operation assigned to you and, together with your team, are responsible for the safety, quality, and timely quantity of the products produced while directly controlling the incurred costs. You lead the daily team directly reporting to you, consisting of a Technical Operations Expert, Operations Coordinator, and Operations Assistant, as well as the shift supervisors, and are responsible for the respective sub-areas.
- You manage the assigned operations and the personnel under your supervision and are responsible for training and further education, as well as personnel development measures within the organization.
- You are responsible for defining, implementing, and complying with regulatory requirements concerning SHE and cGMP within your area of responsibility.
- You coordinate all production topics with your team, are visible, define the department standard, and are responsible for its implementation.
- You lead routine meetings, set goals, and provide direct feedback to the involved employees.
- You initiate and monitor the timely execution of troubleshooting measures.
- You are responsible for compliant process documentation (operating instructions, change controls, etc.) in your area.
- In addition to monitoring production processes, your aim is to continuously optimize them regarding safety, ecology, and economic efficiency.
- Maintaining operating costs and initiating investment projects for new plants or the conversion of existing plants fall within your area of responsibility.
Your Profile
Expertise
- Completed studies in organic chemistry or chemical process engineering.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in chemical production.
- Experience regarding process safety, GMP production environment, and manufacturing costs.
- Knowledge of official requirements and regulations for safe, environmentally friendly, and compliant production execution.
- Very good German and good English skills.
