Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you lead a regional service team with diverse expertise in service planning, order processing, and execution within the Electrification business area. Together with your team, you ensure comprehensive support for our customers in the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) sector in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
You report directly to the Head of Service UPS Systems and make a significant contribution to implementing the service strategy and promoting business growth. Through efficient planning and targeted allocation of resources – always adhering to established processes, procedures, and guidelines – you ensure high service quality and operational excellence.

You are mainly responsible for:
Leading, coaching, and developing a regional service team (Service Coordination, Order Handling, Technical Support, Field Service Technicians), as well as responsibility for all service deployments, maintenance, and customer orders in the region, ensuring qualitative and commercial targets are met
Ensuring high customer satisfaction, maintaining customer relationships, and solution-oriented handling of challenging customer situations
Operational support in service planning (FSL), service execution, and order management (SAP/Salesforce). You also act as the interface between project management and service, including regional forecasting
Maintaining the install base (ServIS) as well as handling warranty requests and reviewing and approving weekly reports, expenses, and service reports, ensuring occupational safety and compliance
Qualifications for the position:
Technical basic training in the electrical field with completed job-related further education at the level of a higher technical school (technical school, master craftsman examination, etc.)
Solid knowledge and practical experience in maintenance, servicing, commissioning, and repair of electrical systems
Experience in power electronics and/or UPS systems
Several years of leadership experience in a similar position
Flexible and resilient personality with high social competence
Strong work and problem-solving methodology
Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland
Proficient use of MS Office applications as well as SAP or other ERP systems
Very good German and English language skills in spoken and written form, French and Italian are an advantage
