Mechanical Master Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Development of the mechanical and optomechanical system architecture of a complete product in the field of LiDAR and imaging optics
Collaboration with physicists, electronics, and mechanical engineers to develop a holistic system
Cooperation with product management, software developers, and other key stakeholders
Design of the optomechanical system architecture in Siemens NX
Participation in technical negotiations with suppliers
Exchange with suppliers and involvement in processes to assess the manufacturability of components and assemblies
Design and validation of prototypes up to series maturity
Support of prototype and product tests
Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes within the R&D team
Who you are
You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international team, using both English and German
University degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification
An affinity for numbers as well as theoretical aspects of mechanics and physics
Familiar with ISO-GPS and 3D design in CAD systems
Experience in optomechanics and sensor technology is an advantage
Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive working style, and hands-on mentality
- Open-minded team player with strong interpersonal skills and good communication
