Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d)

We are a small, dynamic team, specialized in high and medium voltage switches and newly for circuit breakers, which contribute to ensuring that everyone is safely supplied with electrical energy every day. To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as: Supply Chain Specialist (m/f/d) immediately or by agreement.

What you will do

• Purchasing, coordination, and optimization of the entire supply chain, from the procurement of raw materials to storage, picking, and delivery to the handover to the export department.
• Development and implementation of supply chain strategies as well as continuous further development of supply chain processes.
• Overall responsibility for the warehouse at the production site, including the analysis of inventory, inventory values, and efficient warehouse management.
• Conducting contract and price negotiations with suppliers.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with other areas for analysis and improvement of workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, as well as environmental guidelines and safety regulations.

SCM activities mainly in Grenchen in the area of switches and partially in the area of circuit breakers in Hirschthal.

What you bring

• Completed commercial or mechanical basic training with further education or a degree focused on supply chain, logistics, or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in the field of supply chain.
• In-depth knowledge in process optimization, supplier management, and risk management.
• Strong leadership skills as well as the ability to work interdisciplinary.
• Very good communication skills and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on, resilient, independent, and structured personality as well as efficient working methods.
• Very good German and English skills, additional language skills are an advantage.
