Head of Housekeeping
The Gibeleich Senior Center is a public institution for the care and support of the elderly in the city of Opfikon. It offers a total of 76 care places, which are distributed across long-term, transitional, and dementia care. In addition, the Gibeleich Senior Center operates a public restaurant, runs a meal service for the residents of the city of Opfikon, and supplies 11 children's daycares. With its various offerings, the senior center serves as a meeting place for seniors, relatives, volunteers, and residents of the city of Opfikon.
In the coming years, the senior center will develop into a competence center for elderly people, with a replacement new building planned. For this exciting and demanding process, we are looking for an innovative and creative leader who wants to help shape the cleaning and laundry areas of the senior center in the future.

Tasks
- Professional, organizational, and personnel overall responsibility for the cleaning and laundry areas (approx. 14 employees)
- Ensuring optimal service quality and quality assurance
- Co-responsible for budget planning as well as purchasing and inventory management
- Active development and co-design of services and processes
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Expectations
- Completed vocational training in the field of hotel housekeeping
- Professional experience in an equivalent function
- Further training as a department head in hotel housekeeping BP, head of hotel housekeeping HFP, or equivalent further training
- Knowledge in process and project management
- Good IT user skills
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
