Social Deacon with a Focus on Youth Work & Social Media

Our church community in the Knonauer Amt is evolving with committed people and fresh ideas. The community life is modern, close to life, and diverse – it offers space for new projects.

Your Tasks:

• Participatory development and further development of our youth work for young people from 16 years
• Content planning and coordination of our Instagram channel
• Participatory creation and preparation of posts for Instagram
• Organization and implementation of offline events that meaningfully complement the online activities
• Promotion of networking in the area of youth and young adults
• Collaboration with pastors and committed young people
• Networking with the Reformed State Church and participation in the Innovation network meetings

Your Profile:

• Joy and experience in working with young people and young adults
• Interest in creative, innovative church work
• Affinity for social media and digital forms of communication
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Bachelor in Social Work FH or comparable; career starters are also warmly welcome
• Flexibility in working hours (including evening and weekend assignments)
• Identification with church values
