About the job
Your tasks- Manage the reservation center of the Zermatt Hospitality Group (10 hotels and 17 independent restaurants) from 5* hotels to mountain huts
- Lead a well-coordinated team of 5, including creating duty and training schedules
- Responsible for coordinating and processing reservation requests and actively selling our hotels
- Responsible for maintaining the reservation system, distribution channels, and customer databases (updating data and prices, entering packages, etc.)
- Responsible for successfully connecting new distribution channels according to instructions from the Sales Department (Commercial Management);
- Responsible for leading the Event Management Executive(s) including overall responsibility for smooth operations in the event department
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with standards and quality guidelines in communication with guests
- Responsible for maintaining optimal communication and effective collaboration between the reservation department and the hotel and restaurant operations of Zermatt Hospitality Group AG
- Manage distribution channels / extranet of our sales channels as needed
- Create relevant statistics and reports
- Accompany fam trips as needed
Your profile
- Completed training in hospitality, tourism, or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of experience in the reservation department and/or front office or a comparable role
- Ideally, experience in a similar position in upscale hospitality
- High quality awareness and an eye for detail
- Leadership qualities to further develop the team
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Solution-oriented, commercial thinking
- Very good language skills in German and English, French skills are an advantage
- Solid IT user skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, GDS, Channel Manager, and PMS)
