Senior Accountant / Team Leader

For our Finance & Controlling department, we are looking for a committed and resilient personality with several years of qualified experience in accounting in an industrial production environment.

Your Tasks

Team Leader Accounting for the Swiss companies of the Leister Group:

Professional and personnel management of the 5-member team

(two headcounts in general ledger and three headcounts in the shared service center for accounts receivable / accounts payable)

Coordination and oversight of accounting for the four group companies in Switzerland

In this function, you will report directly to the Group CFO

Responsible for the individual financial statements of Leister Technologies AG

Independently managing the general ledger and monitoring the sub-ledgers

Monthly closings and reporting to the group (according to OR)

Cost center and project reporting as well as segment accounting

Managing fixed asset accounting

Intercompany reconciliation with sister companies

Preparing VAT returns for group declaration

Contributing to the annual budgeting

Contact person for the audit

Continuous improvement/optimization of processes and collaboration within the team

Your Profile

Proven expert in your field (in a leadership position is an advantage) with a solid theoretical education with FA

Confidence in closing, several years of qualified experience in a similar function in an international production environment (hands-on)

Solid ERP knowledge and high IT affinity

SAP implementation experience is an advantage

Experience in preparing financial reports and presenting results

Excellent communication skills and a team player with an independent, reliable, and service-oriented working style and a high degree of personal responsibility

Fluent German and good English skills are an advantage
