The privately run senior center in the heart of the city of Winterthur offers around 150 residents a living and living space where they feel comfortable and are cared for according to their needs. The Senior Center Wiesengrund is a recognized and popular facility in the healthcare sector.

Our gastronomy department takes care of the needs of the residents, their relatives, and our external guests throughout the entire service area. The hospitality of our service team is highly appreciated by both internal and external customers at the Senior Center Wiesengrund.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start for a

Service Specialist EFZ/EBA 60% - 70%

What you can achieve with us:

• Preparing and serving all meals in the dining room for the residents, including operating all necessary equipment 
• Attending to internal and external guests in our public restaurant
• Preparing and implementing banquets and aperitifs
• Operating the electronic cash register system 
• Performing cleaning tasks according to the hygiene concept and complying with hygiene regulations
• Active participation in team meetings and further training

What you bring with you:

You have a quick grasp, are reliable, and do not lose overview in hectic situations. You are used to working independently and in a very agile environment. Additionally, you are willing to support us on weekends, public holidays, and special events.

You have completed basic training as a restaurant specialist EFZ or a comparable qualification in gastronomy or hotel management. You have completed the "trainer" course or have several years of experience as a practical trainer. You consider yourself resilient, very flexible, and enjoy working with our residents, then we should get to know each other.
