Buchs, Gränichen, and Suhr are pioneering and emerging municipalities in the Aarau region. The Regional Police Suret (Repol) is responsible for the local security of the three municipalities with around 28,000 inhabitants. The police station of Repol is centrally located in Suhr, where, based on the municipal contract, all employments are also managed. To complete our team, we are looking for a committed person to start immediately or by arrangement as
Repol Suret has existed since 2003. The corps currently consists of 15 police officers and is supported by two civilian employees.
Your tasks
- Maintaining peace, order, and security
- Investigations in criminal and non-criminal areas
- First interventions and assistance in all police matters
- Enforcing legal regulations and reporting to the responsible authorities
- Traffic police duties and actions in moving and stationary traffic
- Carrying out assignments from other authorities
- Patrol duties at various times of day and night
We expect
- Completed police training with BBT degree or certificate
- Good general education, completed vocational training, and impeccable reputation
- Physical and mental resilience and quick comprehension
- High social competence, reliability, communication, and teamwork skills
- Good German skills, IT experience, and technical understanding
- Driver's license category B
