Are you attracted by a varied activity with high personal responsibility and diverse topics in a demanding environment? The Unemployment Fund department of the Canton of Lucerne is responsible for the implementation of the compulsory unemployment insurance and insolvency compensation (AVIG). It checks the respective entitlement requirements and pays out the various insurance benefits.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for the management and organization of the department. This includes budgeting and personnel planning.
- You ensure the consistent implementation of instructions, orders, and requirements from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the WAS business unit.
- You guarantee the equal legal implementation of AVIG.
- You take on your leadership role towards team leaders at eye level, recognize the potential of employees, and promote learning transfer.
- You represent the Unemployment Fund externally and drive cooperation with the other WAS wira enforcement bodies (labor market, cantonal office) as well as the other areas of WAS AK and WAS IV forward.
- You are a member of the WAS wira Lucerne business unit management and report directly to the business unit manager, WAS wira Lucerne.
Your competencies
- You have a business or legal education (university, university of applied sciences, postgraduate degree) or a commercial education with corresponding further training and many years of leadership experience.
- You have good knowledge and great interest in the insurance sector, ideally in-depth knowledge in the field of social insurance (federal social insurance expert).
- You are an empathetic, communicative, and resilient personality with high self-motivation, social skills, and affinity for digital processes.
- You appreciate an activity with the most diverse contacts and broad networking and coordinate and maintain contacts with various stakeholders as a link.
