We are an independent private bank focused on asset management and individual client service. As part of our Finance team, you will independently take on central tasks in finance and accounting. In this key role, you ensure that our regulatory reports and evidence are submitted on time, accurately and transparently, and you apply your knowledge where new regulatory requirements need to be integrated into processes and systems.

YOUR TASKS

Regulatory Reporting and Supervisory Law

• Independent preparation, plausibility checks and submission of regulatory reports (own funds according to ERV, concentration risks as well as liquidity evidence) to FINMA and SNB
• Accounting and disclosure according to the banking accounting regulations (RVB)
• Co-responsibility and preparation of VAT and other tax returns
• Monitoring regulatory developments, assessing the impact on reporting and processes, and implementing new requirements in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Risk and IT
• Contact person for audit firms, auditors and internal departments on reporting matters including preparation of the relevant documents

Finance and Accounting

• Management of financial accounting and participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the management and auditors
• Maintenance and reconciliation of bank and account master data in close cooperation with Compliance, including coordination of correspondent banking relationships
• Assuming deputising roles (payment transactions, credit business, etc.) as well as participation in projects and process or automation initiatives in reporting

YOUR PROFILE

• Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting (e.g. federal diploma, banking expert, business administration) or equivalent practical experience, high commitment and quality-conscious working style
• Several years of experience in regulatory reporting at a bank or audit firm with knowledge of regulations (laws, RVB, FINMA circulars) or strong willingness to deepen knowledge in this area with support
• Confident handling of core banking systems, reporting tools and Excel
• Analytical, structured and precise working style as well as a high awareness of quality and deadlines
• Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
• Initiative, sense of responsibility and enjoyment in taking on a broad range of tasks in a small team
