Are you ready to take the next step in your scientific career? If so, Syngenta can help you make it. We are currently looking for a Process Engineer / Chemist to join Process Hazards Section in Münchwilen as a Process Safety Specialist.
Job Description
- Providing knowledge and direction in process safety, in the fields of both flammability and thermal stability hazards, to support Syngenta’s new product development and pilot plant manufacturing
- Playing a key role in the development of safe manufacturing processes
- Supporting risk assessments with safety data, guidance, and advice
- Contributing to the development of novel technologies and approaches relating to process safety
- Providing training and coaching in process safety to colleagues throughout the region
Qualifications
Extensive prior specialization in process safety is not essential, as you will be joining a group of globally recognised technical experts that will support your development in this area.
What we do require from you is:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Experience of Process Risk Assessment techniques (e.g. HAZOP) in the context of batch chemical processing
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Fluency in English
