Your tasks
The Head of Marketing and Sales for the Executive Education area (OPEN & CUSTOM Programs) is operationally responsible for the positioning, marketing, and sales management of the continuing education offerings. In close cooperation with the marketing team of the Executive School and the program managers, he develops and implements target group-specific marketing and sales measures that contribute to reach, conversion, and customer satisfaction. The focus is on excellent implementation, data-driven performance marketing, and continuous optimization of the customer journey.
- Development and implementation of the marketing and sales strategy for Open Programs in line with the overall strategy of the Executive School
- Positioning and branding of individual programs in cooperation with faculty, alumni, and thought leaders
- Planning, execution, and optimization of cross-channel campaigns (including performance marketing, social media, SEO/SEA, newsletters, etc.)
- Creation and analysis of KPI reports as well as derivation of optimization potentials
- Maintenance and further development of the program pages on op.unisg.ch as well as the associated content (text, visuals, UX)
- Lead generation and qualification in close coordination with the program management
- Development and maintenance of customer journeys along the phases of awareness, consideration, enrollment, and retention
- Organization and execution of online and offline events for lead activation (e.g., info sessions, webinars, masterclasses, fairs)
- Building and leading a sales team
- Leadership of employees as well as coordination of external service providers
- Close cooperation with the marketing team of the Executive School (e.g., in web projects, campaign planning, branding)
Your profile
- University degree in marketing, communication, business administration, or related fields
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing or sales, ideally in the education sector or a knowledge-intensive industry (e.g., consulting, professional services)
- Solid knowledge in digital marketing, especially performance marketing, web analytics, and marketing automation
- Experience in designing and optimizing sales funnels and customer journeys
- High degree of personal responsibility, organizational skills, and implementation competence
- Strong team and communication skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Confident handling of CRM systems, CMS (e.g., WordPress), analytics tools (Google Analytics, Matomo), and campaign platforms (LinkedIn, Google, etc.)
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
