The North-South Pediatric Emergency Center is a medical center that opened its doors on January 8, 2025, to welcome children from 0 to 16 years old without an appointment for surgical and medical emergencies 7 days a week. The medical team is made up of experienced pediatricians, allowing for quality and rapid care. The modern and equipped premises provide the possibility to perform X-rays and laboratory tests, as well as treatments for wounds or simple fractures. The team is complemented by a nursing team accustomed to pediatric care. Orthopedic follow-ups can be done with a specialist on site or at the GO2 center, specialized in orthopedic care for adolescents.

We are looking for the North-South polyclinic for a:

Pediatric Nurse (M/F) at 80-100%

Start date as soon as possible.

YOU HAVE

• A HES nursing diploma, or recognized foreign equivalent CRS.
• Training in emergency care or Triage courses 1 and 2. PALS is an asset.
• Successful experience in a similar role in neonatology or pediatric or pediatric emergency services with PALS, an asset.
• Flexibility and availability to work days on two sites (North-South polyclinic and Morges hospital) as well as during the week and 2 weekends per month.
• Versatility and excellent stress management skills allowing you to work in our three pediatric units (emergency, pediatric ward, neonatology).
• Strong communication and listening skills as well as a sense of multidisciplinary teamwork.

YOUR OBJECTIVES

• Ensure triage of patients aged 0 to 16 presenting in non-life-threatening emergency situations.
• Care for pediatric emergencies, in the hospitalization service of patients aged 0 to 16, as well as premature and full-term babies.
• Anticipate, plan, organize and provide quality care with kindness and dexterity, while demonstrating good stress resistance.
• Develop personalized care objectives with the child, their relatives, and the multidisciplinary team, based on collected data and considering a global therapeutic project, promoting close collaboration.
• Systematically and continuously assess the clinical condition of children, ensuring simultaneous management.

• Work according to 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
