We are looking for you as Service Manager (m/f) Elevators – Upper Valais Region as soon as possible.
Your Role
In this position, you will lead a team of about 5 service technicians. You independently and autonomously supervise maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting work.
Your Tasks
You ensure that our users and employees are always safe on the move.
You keep our systems running: you quickly resolve malfunctions, coordinate maintenance efficiently, and advance repairs purposefully.
You are in direct contact with our customers, solve inquiries and complaints pragmatically, and immediately implement the right measures in case of safety notifications.
You identify repair opportunities, sell appropriate services, and ensure smooth implementation and correct billing.
You keep operational costs under control and make decisions that balance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
You plan deployments cleverly, optimize service routes, and ensure your team is at the right place at the right time.
You represent KONE internally and externally – communicating clearly, solution-oriented, and reliably.
You ensure that our methods, safety standards, and processes are consistently applied in daily work.
You manage administrative topics such as HR matters and reports with overview and routine.
Your Profile
Completed vocational training in mechanics and/or electrical engineering, ideally in both fields (higher qualifications in these areas, e.g., advanced technical school, are an advantage)
Several years of experience in a similar position in the elevator sector is an advantage
Experience in team leadership is desired and advantageous
Good knowledge of safety and management standards (quality assurance, P&L, etc.)
Native (Upper Valais) German speaker with excellent oral knowledge of French to communicate with other service managers in Western Switzerland. Bilingual candidates welcome!
English skills are an advantage.
Good knowledge of standard IT tools and ERP systems
Good interpersonal skills, customer orientation, and resilience
Driver's license category B mandatory
Residence in Upper Valais
The position is open to persons residing in Switzerland (Swiss or foreign nationality WITH valid residence permit).
