About the job
Protect exhibition objects: You supervise the exhibition objects and the associated infrastructure. You operate security and building technology systems to protect the objects according to specifications.
Inform guests: You professionally answer general questions from visitors and provide orientation. Furthermore, you diligently control access to the museum area and enforce compliance with the house rules.
Active in three buildings: You have a good eye for irregularities and report them to the superior authority. You work alternately at all three locations (main building, extension building, and contemporary).
Experience: Professional experience with guest or customer contact is an advantage. Interest and enjoyment in art and museum operations are required. A high level of service understanding is mandatory.
Personality: You have a neat appearance as well as a friendly presence and conversation. An impeccable reputation completes your profile. As much flexibility as possible or willingness to work evenings and weekends is mandatory.
Education: You have completed vocational training.
Language: Very good German skills are mandatory; good spoken English required; French skills desired.
